…Tuesday, December 21 at 10:59 EST in the Northern Hemisphere, marks the Winter Solstice. This is the first day of winter. The shortest day and the longest night. What does this mean for you? Absolutely nothing!
Except, it’s a day to enjoy life, spend time with family and friends. Go out and play in nature – it’s beautiful! It’s a time to generate new ideas, reflect on life and plan for a prosperous future. A time of giving and gratitude.
Give someone a hug and say Happy Solstice. It will confuse the heck out of them. π
Remember to give thanks to those around you. You can give a smile, a thank you, a cup of coffee, a bag of groceries, an extra tip, or a pair of shoes when out and about. Spend time at home with family if you can or have a long conversation with a friend who lives far away. Be thankful – be kind!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Well, itβs that time of year again. You know, that time we spend running around setting our watches, microwaves, clocks in our cars and all other timepieces one hour earlier. The reason for this β Daylight Saving Time has come to an end. Yeah! We can fall back in beds and snooze for a little while longer.
So remember to turn your clocks back one hour this Sunday and enjoy the extra snooze.
Today is the autumnal equinox – the last day of summer bringing the first day of fall. This is a time to gather your thoughts, warm your hearth and home and prepare for the changing season in most places. For some, there may not be any changes outside in their area but in their perspective, how you look at the world. For others it could mean be turning point in their future. Wherever you are in your reality remember to look forward, face your challanges with positivity and keep a light in your heart.
This is on you and no one else. You are always in control of you.

This Spring marks the Spring Equinox which happens on Saturday, March 20. It is also the first day of spring, a day of new beginnings. This year we have also experienced some unpredictable and unique weather around the world. COVID-19 is now a lifestyle with most of us working from home or practicing self quarantine and being stuck inside all day. Now would be a good time to shake things up a bit for our health and sanity.
Now sit back with a cup of tea or your favorite drink and enjoy your accomplishments.

We may not be able to gather together throughout the holidays this year, but we can still connect with each other in various ways.
Make a call, send a card, video chat with family and friends, shop together on-line, share your book or movie review, send a message via carrier pigeon if feasible. There are so many ways to connect with one another these days.
Check up on each other and share a smile together. Be the ray of sunshine to someone struggling to move out of the dark. Reach out and connect.
Sending warm hugs and light to all.
