Fourth of July.
The day the Declaration of Independence
was adopted by the Continental Congress in 1776.
Today and every day, I want to thank all sons and daughters,
brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers,
grandfathers and grandmothers, great-grandparents,
great-great-grandparents who served
and are still serving in our military.
Today we celebrate your courage and determination.
We are a grateful nation.
Most people see only what’s right there in front of them. They are surprised or fearful of what is coming toward of them. They avoid looking at what happened in the past or in some cases dwell in past events where they were miserable and then project those negative feelings onto their possible future. They focus is on themselves and avoid looking around.
